After been asked and delivering a presentation on Creativity, we thought what better topic to base this blog on!
Ask yourself, are you making the most of what you have in terms of your marketing, branding and people before you invest in them any further?
Do you test and measure your marketing efforts?
Do you know who, why and what works best for you?
How well do you know your audience? (If you get this wrong or don’t know how they want to be communicated with it’s game over!)
We suggest you try making the most of your
• Customers & Contacts
• Your Resources
• Your Skills & Knowledge
• Opportunities
But how?
Customers & Contacts:
Talk to them – do your clients & contacts know all of the products and services you offer?
Do you have someone in your office that is great on the phone that could make your CRM calls? They know your clients, could help generate leads for your sales team whilst at the same time cleanse your database ready for your next marketing campaign.
Human Resources:
Do you talk to your team?
Does your team talk to each other?
Does your team talk to you?
Does everyone in your team know what direction the company is going in? EVERYONE in your company who interacts with clients and prospective clients have an impact on the company branding and ultimately sales.
When did you last check that everyone in your team could spot sales opportunities?
New products and services may not sell well through ‘traditional sales techniques’ – when did you last check your sales message?
Skills & Knowledge:
When did you last have a ‘Kit-Kat meeting?’ What ideas and input could your team offer to help develop new business ideas, products and sales?
Can your skills be transferred into new/other markets or industries?
Knowledge is power! What do you know about your industry that could set you apart and give you the edge from your competition?
Could what you know enable you to write blogs or articles to help increase your brand awareness?
Opportunities:
Could you deliver/run seminars/workshops to help introduce you to new target audiences/industries?
Have you thought of entering into awards? They are hard work to complete, but if you win you receive loads of PR and brand exposure.
What are your competitors doing?
What can you be doing that they are not?
This is just the tip of the iceberg – we have LOADS of ideas that won’t break the bank to help you make he most of your branding, marketing and resources and we are more than happy to share them with you.
